Bail pending appeal for Qiliho will be heard on March 27th

The hearing date for bail pending appeal in the University of the South Pacific case for former Police Commissioner, Sitiveni Qiliho will be heard by the Fiji Court of Appeal on the 27th of March.

Qiliho and Bainimarama appeared before Judge, Justice Chandana Prematilaka.

The Court of Appeal will be hearing the arguments from the parties in relation to Bainimarama and Qiliho's appeal for conviction and sentencing.

The hearing date for bail pending appeal in the University of the South Pacific case for former Police Commissioner, Sitiveni Qiliho will be heard by the Fiji Court of Appeal on the 27th of March.

The date for that hearing is yet to be set.

The bail pending appeal application only applies to Qiliho as Bainimarama was granted an early release on the 8th of November.

Qiliho is serving a 2 year prison sentence for the charge of abuse of office.
