A man who allegedly breached his bail conditions by not deactivating his Facebook account will front the Nasinu Magistrates Court tomorrow for his bail hearing.

Seremaia Tuiteci has been given until tomorrow to make a formal bail application.

He is charged with two counts of breach of bail for allegedly failing to sign in at the Valelevu Police Station and failing to deactivate his Facebook account.

He was earlier charged with one count of Malicious Act for posting live videos about COVID-19 on Facebook with the alleged intention of creating public alarm.

In July, Tuiteci was released on bail by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

The alleged incidents occurred between the 15th and 20th of July.

The court had ordered Tuiteci in July to de-activate all his social media accounts and report to Valelevu Police Station every Friday between 8am to 5pm.
