Baby Pearls lost to Malawi 52-51

The Baby Pearls lost their first match in the Netball World Youth Cup 52-51 last night to Malawi.  

It was an electrifying contest between Baby Pearls and Malawi in the third round of a pool match, where Malawi pulled off a last-minute play and got the winning goal in the dying second to claim the win.   

The Baby Pearls won their first match, defeating Trinidad and Tobago 53-40, and they beat Barbados 66-34 yesterday morning.  

The Baby Pearls are on a bye today, and their next match will be against South Africa at 5am tomorrow.
