Baby Pearls beat Gibraltar 61-31, to face Samoa in 9th–12th place semi-final

The Baby Pearls have beaten Gibraltar 61-31 in the 9th to 16th place quarter-final of the Netball World Youth Cup this morning.

The side finished third in their pool after recording two wins and two losses. They defeated Trinidad and Tobago 53-40 in their opening match, before thumping Barbados 66-43.

Their two losses came against Malawi, who edged them 52-51, and South Africa, who won 86-35 in the final pool match.

The Baby Pearls will now take on Samoa in the 9th to 12th place semi-final at 5am tomorrow.
