Fiji Airways Men's National 7s Coach Gareth Baber says he is proud to see players on the frontline in the fight against COVID-19 and this is a testament that the players are building in the sevens program.
Baber says sometimes the players surprise him as well, and it is great to see that the work you do with them in the sevens environment is seen not just in the community but in life generally.
Some of the players in the disciplined forces who have been helping in community screening for COVID-19 and response to TC Harold are Meli Derenalagi, Livai Ikanikoda, Alasio Naduva, Aminiasi Tuimaba and Suliano Volivolituevei.
Fiji 7s players are also continuing to do their individual training for the upcoming tournaments in September and October.
