Baber looks at skill and consistency

Fiji Airways Men's National 7s Coach Gareth Baber says he did not only look at the skill level but also consistency when he selected players from the Skipper Cup and local 7s competitions to join the extended training squad.

Baber says he also looked at the way players behaved on the field.

Suva’s Jone Manu and Taniela Sadrugu, Nadi’s Vilikesa Driu and Kitione Salawa Junior, Namosi's Onisi Ratave and Vinaya Habosi, Police 7s forward Josefa Talacolo and Tabadamu's Simione Cece were part of the team’s training session at Albert Park today.

Baber says he has also been impressed with the fitness of the players selected from the Skipper Cup competition.

Other players part of the training today were Meli Derenalagi, Jiuta Wainiqolo, Jerry Tuwai, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Kalione Nasoko, Kitione Taliga, Kaminieli Rasaku, Nasoni Tulavu, Alasio Naduva, Waisea Nacuqu, Josua Vakakurunabili, Rusiate Nasove, Livai Ikanikoda, Napolioni Ratu and Asaeli Tuivuaka.
