Ba wins 2023 Courts after beating Lautoka 2-1

Ba was crowned the 2023 Courts IDC Champions in the Super Premier Division after their 2-1 win over Lautoka at the HFC Bank Stadium last night.

Ba led 1-0 at half time.

Darold Kakasi and Etonia Dogalau scored for Ba while Saula Waqa scored for Lautoka.

Ba coach Ashif Ali says it's something that he could have only dreamt of however the team has made it possible by winning the title.

Ali dedicated the win to all the fans, families and supporters of Ba who had a lot of expectations from the team.

He says the team has given something big to all the people of Ba.

Meanwhile, Nabil Begg received the best player award, keeper Misieni Nairube received the Golden Glove award and Mohammed Raheem was awarded the Golden Boot.
