The Ba Women's Rugby team will face the Macuata Women's Rugby team in the final of the Royal Tea Ranadi Trophy.

Ba defeated Rewa 53-24, and Macuata beat Tavua 31-22 in their respective semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Serua U20 rugby team has secured a spot in the final of the Vodafone Vanua Trophy after defeating Cakaudrove U20 29–11.

Serua captain Rafaele Dagaga, a current Nasinu Secondary School student, says the players were reminded to stick to the game plan and make use of every opportunity.

Dagaga says more than 20 players from the Nasinu Under-19 team are playing for Serua, and they are thankful for the opportunity to represent the Vanua of Serua.

He says that discipline is one of the key issues the team needs to work on, and they will aim to improve before the final next week.

The second U20 semi-final is currently underway, with Taveuni U20 taking on Kadavu U20 at Buckhurst Ground.
