Ba beats Navua 5-3

Ba defeated Navua 5-3 in a Vodafone Premier League match this afternoon.

Saula Waqa and Abbu Zahid scored two goals each while Samuela Drudru scored a goal for the Men in Black.

Veteran, Apisai Smith who came off the bench scored two goals for Navua while Vineet Chand scored from the penalty spot.

Ba led 2-0 at half-time.

Ba’s coach, Roneel Kumar says a youthful Ba side performed well.

Ba now sits fourth on the VPL points table with six points.

Meanwhile, in the Under 16 Youth League, Nasinu thrashed Tailevu Naitasiri 5-1, Rewa beat Navua 4-0 while Suva went down to Northland Tailevu 2-1.
