Ba beat a 10 men Labasa side 2-1 at Fiji FA Academy grounds in Ba today to climb to second place on the Vodafone Premier League points table.

Siotame Kubu’s goal in the first half gave Labasa an early lead.

Labasa’s Antonio Tuivuna was red-carded in the second half for violent conduct on the field.

Tuivuna will now have to miss two matches for Labasa.

This gave Sanaila Waqanicakau the perfect chance to first equalise for Ba and then score again to give them a 2-1 lead in the second half.

Rewa is leading the points table with 13 points while Ba now has 12 points.

Meanwhile, Rewa will take on Lautoka at 1pm at Ratu Cakobau Park tomorrow and Nasinu will take on Navua at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park while Nadi will face Suva also at 3pm at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
