BSP appoints Umesh Radhika Prasad as the General Manager of Treasury

BSP Financial Group Limited has announced the appointment of Umesh Radhika Prasad as its General Manager of Treasury.

BSP Fiji Country Head, Haroon Ali says the appointment aligns with BSP’s strategic objective of ensuring that more women become a part of the leadership team at the Bank.

Ali says the appointment is a testament to BSP’s strategy of having a diversified and local senior management team.

He says Prasad will be a member of their Executive Management Team in Fiji and has brought with her over 15 years of specialised experience in treasury and foreign exchange business.

He adds that Prasad is an accredited foreign exchange dealer with Australian Financial Markets and is passionate about local talent development and is known to lead with empathy.

The BSP Fiji Country Head says that given her extensive experience, leadership and strategic approach, he is confident that she will elevate treasury to a business which will benefit their valued customers.

Following the announcement, Prasad says BSP Fiji has very experienced and talented executive management team and she is looking forward to bringing further specialized expertise to the organization.

She says that she is looking forward to her new role at BSP and is committed to adding further value to the BSP treasury business.

Prasad is also a Board Director for Fiji Revenue & Customs Services and Fiji Chamber of Commerce.

Her academic accolades include being a Gold Medallist from the University of the South Pacific for Masters in Business Administration.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Mathematics and Post Graduate Diploma in Economics and also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Physics.
