Former Ba veteran player Avinesh Suwamy who has assisted Ba win a number of titles will for the first time play against his former team.

Suwamy who has been playing for Ba since he was 18 and has never played for any other team other than Ba.

He made the move to Nadi earlier this year during the transfer window.

Nadi Football Association President Ashwant Singh says this is a must win game for the Nadi side.

Meanwhile, the Ba soccer team will be without two of their key players who have helped their side win a number of times.

Ilimotama Jese and Saula Waqa have been ruled out to play against Nadi tonight.

Jese will be out for one match as he was handed two yellow cards while Waqa is out for two matches after getting a direct red card during their game against Nasinu last week.

However, there is some positive news as Team Manager Ranveer Singh says Abbu Zahid and Narendra Rao will make their return for the Men in Black after serving a one-match suspension last week.

Ba lost to Nasinu last week 2-0 while Nadi lost to Labasa by 1-0.

The Nadi-Ba game takes place at 6pm at Prince Charles Park.
