Avinesh Suwamy captained Nadi thrash Ba 5-1 in VPL

Sakaraia Naisua scored twice as the Nadi soccer team thrashed Ba 5-1 in the Vodafone Premier League this evening at Prince Charles Park.

Afraz Ali gave Nadi the lead before Naisua doubled their advantage as the Jetsetters led 2-0 at the break.

Manasa Nawakula pulled a goal back for Ba from the penalty spot early in the second half before Naisua scored his second to extend Nadi's lead.

Napolioni Qasevakatini got the 4th goal for Nadi before Navneel Nand scored a goal to inflict further embarrassment for the Men in Black.

Ba's Jonetani Newa was shown a red card in the second half after receiving a yellow card for a foul on Nadi captain Avinesh Suwamy
