Minister for Education, Premila Kumar says the attendance rate for Years 12 and 13 has improved and now stands at over 85 percent.

Kumar says the attendance rate was 68 percent last Monday.

While speaking at the Nadi Special Needs School this morning, Kumar also highlighted that only the Eastern Division is showing poor attendance.

She says they are working with the heads of schools to find out where the students are and once they establish that, they will be able to talk to the students to get them back in the classrooms.
