Fiji Airways Flying Fijians prop, Lee Roy Atalifo is the latest Fijian international player to secure a contract overseas for the Edinburgh Rugby Club for next season.

Edinburgh Rugby club confirmed the signing of the 31-year-old yesterday stating that Atalifo is a quality tight-head prop who will fit in well with the culture that they have built.

Coach Richard Cockerill says Atalifo has shown that he can perform at the highest level of rugby and he will bring plenty of experience and physicality to their front-row.

Atalifo after signing the contract told the media that this is an opportunity for him to be part of such a historic club and enable him to continue doing what he loves and testing himself against the best in the Guinness PRO14 competition.

The tighthead prop has played 13 matches for the Flying Fijians.
