Assistant Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci

Assistant Commissioner of Police and Chief of Staff Sakeo Raikaci has passed away

He was called to rest on Saturday.

The Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu says the organisation is deeply saddened by the sudden loss and extends the Fiji Police Force’s deepest and heartfelt condolences to ACP Raikaci’s family, acknowledging their support of a career police officer who, for 35 years, remained a loyal and dedicated servant of Fiji, contributing immensely to various disciplines of policing.

Tudravu described ACP Raikaci as a formidable leader whose commitment, unwavering loyalty, and professionalism saw him rise through the ranks to become an Assistant Commissioner of Police.

He says the late ACP Raikaci also acted in the posts of Deputy Commissioner of Police and Acting Commissioner of Police on several occasions during the absence of Acting Commissioner Juki Fong Chew, providing sound leadership to the organization.

Commissioner Tudravu says ACP Raikaci leaves behind a legacy, and his loss will be felt not only by his family but also by the organization he dutifully served for 35 years.

Police say ACP Raikaci’s career progression reflected a highly experienced and versatile professional in fieldwork, investigations, and legal practice.

They add he was known for mastering both prosecutorial and intelligence operations, and his contributions to the Fiji Police Force and the communities he served will always be remembered.
