Permanent Secretary for Health Dr James Fong.

Permanent Secretary for Health Dr James Fong says their current position is that as long as the people around children are fully vaccinated and spaces such as houses of worship are well ventilated, that should be enough.

He made these comments when asked by Legend FM News if children will be allowed to enter houses of worship and other places from 4th October as houses of worship and almost all workplaces can open at 70% capacity to double-dosed adults.

Dr Fong says beyond that they are not giving any other directive.

Dr Fong also says they have received some submissions from churches in regards to unvaccinated people.

He adds there can be other ways of unvaccinated people engaging in prayer sessions in a different way.
