University of Fiji students will now have easy accessibility to rent as Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji has opened its million dollar Laucala View Apartments in Samabula, Suva.

While opening the million dollar apartment, Sabha General Treasurer Arvind Chand says some of their major projects are the Dr Ram Lakhan Memorial School canteen project, Lautoka Arya Samaj Primary School canteen, Gurukul Primary School, DAV College in Ba, the University of Fiji Development project, the Arya flats in Ba and the Laucala View Apartments.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Media Officer Kamlesh Arya says the building was a Vedic Centre before it was converted to an Ashram (Orphanage), and now they have expanded it into apartments. Arya says the apartment includes 10 flats which is currently rented by the students of the University of Fiji because it is easy accessibility for them.

He says before, the students had to face difficulties in finding flats or houses for rent which was costly for them as well.

The Media Officer says some of the challenges faced were attracting customers due to the Sabha's morals and values and COVID-19, which stopped them from the construction and getting funding.

He says the Sabha also looks forward to their other developments in Tavua and Ba which are currently under construction.
