Army Green are the new champions of the 37th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s after defeating Fresh'et Navy 20-5 in the final this afternoon.

Army started strong with a try from Inia Tawalo to give the boys from Delainabua a 5-0 lead, however, Navy came back with a try to lock the score at 5-all at halftime.

The rainy weather did not dampen the spirits of the Army players as they continued to show their dominance in the second half.

Army scored three more tries in the second spell through a double from former Fiji 7s rep Rokoua Rasaku and one from Waisake Laroti.

Meanwhile, PSM Aflame Brothers have retained their U21 title after defeating Dominion Brothers 7-5, and the Seahawks have won the women’s title after defeating Ezers women’s rugby side 26-12.
