Our top rugby commentator Antonio Rahiman says Argentina frustrated the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team by holding possession and keeping Fiji back in their own territory for most parts of the match.

Argentina defeated Fiji 29-10 to win the Vancouver 7s.

Rahiman says Fiji started well by scoring the first try through Kaminieli Rasaku but Argentina took full command of the game by scoring five tries.

He says Fiji gave away six penalties which was costly.

Rahiman adds Fiji also missed a specialist to win possession from restarts.

Fiji’s tries were scored by Jerry Tuwai and Kaminieli Rasaku.

Argentina’s Marcos Moneta scored two tries in the final to finish the tournament as the top try scorer with ten tries in total.

Moneta was also named Player of the Final.

Fiji has picked up 19 points for being the runner-up and jumps to 6th place on the World Sevens Series Standings while Argentina moves up to second place.
