Inside Out front man Apakuki Nalawa from his ‘Let Go’ music video.

Inside Out front man, Apakuki Nalawa has today released the video of his single ‘Let Go’ and hopes the song will help people who are going through difficulties because of COVID-19 where they may be falling into pockets of depression and anxiety.

Nalawa says while growing up he had trouble fitting in because he did not have the privilege of completing his education but that did not stop him from pursuing something and making something on his own.

He says he had also been through depression.

His advice to those going through hardship is that there are better days ahead and it may not be today or tomorrow but they have to keep at it and never give up.

Nalawa says he believes nobody is alone and everyone has a person they can reach out to and adds the first step to overcoming challenges is actually wanting to come out of it and reaching out for help.

He adds that help is also available through helplines where there will always be someone to hear what you have to say.

If you need to talk to someone or need help, please call Lifeline Fiji's toll-free number 1543.

He adds that you have to take the first step and find an outlet to express yourself and adds to never give up until you find that outlet.

Nalawa says he wrote, composed and recorded ‘Let Go’ last year and adds that he will be releasing a single every three weeks until the end of the year and is also working on the videos.
