People are being urged to come forward and assist Animals Fiji in purchasing a digital x-ray machine for their Savusavu Clinic which will be used for animals in the Northern Division.

The fundraising began in 2019 and Animals Fiji has so far managed to collect $31,000 which is 44% of their target.

North Outreach Manager, Brenda Fenton says their Savusavu clinic is in desperate need of an x-ray machine and this will be the first in the Northern Division.

Fenton says an x-ray machine proves to be a valuable diagnostic tool which makes diagnosing quicker and more efficient.

She says they use the machine to diagnose broken bones, hernias, heart disease, bones stuck in the throat, hip dysplasia, spinal disorders, tumors, dental issues and other issues.

If you want to donate to the worthy cause, you can visit Animals Fiji website, their GoFundMe page: The Animals in Northern Fiji Need an Xray or donate to their Westpac account number 9803-6245-77.

You can also donate funds via MPAiSA by going to business payments and searching for Animals Fiji.
