Angie Kumar with two bouquets of flowers for her best friends

As many couples, friends, and family members celebrate Valentine's Day today, Angie Kumar from Suva is planning a special surprise for two of her best friends by gifting them a flower bouquet.

Kumar, who works at Bula Outsourcing, says she wanted to place the bouquet on their desk before they arrive at work.

She believes Valentine's Day is not just for couples but can also be celebrated with anyone you love.

Kumar also highlighted that she and her friends have been close for two years and they have supported her through everything.

She adds she will also be taking them out later to celebrate.

Market vendor Loata Nasau says she received an order last week from a customer for a flower bouquet costing $120.

Nasau adds many others placed their orders this morning, and she hopes to earn more income to support her three children, who will be starting tertiary studies at Fulton College next week.
