Andrew Kumar and Ulamila Vata win boy’s and girl’s 3,000 metres race in the Coca-Cola Lautoka Zone

Andrew Kumar of Natabua High School and Ulamila Vata of Yasawa High School have won the boy’s and girl’s 3,000 metres race in the Coca-Cola Lautoka Athletics Zone

Andrew Kumar of Natabua High School and Ulamila Vata of Yasawa High School have won the boy’s and girl’s 3,000 metres race in the Coca-Cola Lautoka Athletics Zone meet at Churchill Park.

Kumar won his race with a manual time 9 minutes and 59 seconds.

Lepani Duve of Drasa Secondary finished second while Shivnesh Rao of Lautoka Andhra Sangam College was third.

Vata ran a manual time of 12 minutes and 35 seconds.

Teammate Vesi Ranadi came in second.

In the girl’s division Jasper Williams High School leads with 11 gold, 13 silver and 6 bronze, Natabua is second with 6 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze while Central College is third with 3 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze.

Natabua is leading the boy’s division with 16 gold, 12 silver and 3 bronze, Lautoka Muslim College is second with 2 gold and 4 bronze while Drasa Secondary is third with 2 gold.
