Anaseini Senimoli has been appointed as the Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections today by the Supervisor of Elections, Ana Mataiciwa.
Mataiciwa says Senimoli is currently serving as the FEO’s Director of Operations, a role she has held with distinction for the past ten years.
She says during this time, she has successfully overseen critical electoral operations for both the 2018 and 2022 General Elections.
She says her new appointment reflects the FEO’s commitment to strengthening its leadership capacity and maintaining operational excellence as preparations continue for upcoming electoral events.
Mataiciwa praised Senimoli’s exemplary service and leadership.
The Supervisor of Elections stresses that Senimoli’s extensive operational experience and deep understanding of Fiji’s electoral processes make her well-suited to take on this important role.
She adds she has full confidence in her ability to support the FEO’s strategic direction and ongoing preparations for future elections.
Mataiciwa further highlighted the importance of filling the Acting Deputy role at this stage of the FEO’s preparations.
She says this role will ensure continuity of leadership within the FEO, strengthen their operational capacity, and support their team in delivering a transparent, efficient, and credible electoral process.
Mataiciwa says they are confident that with this appointment, the FEO will continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in serving the people of Fiji.
She further says having served under five Acting Deputy Supervisors of Elections, Senimoli brings a wealth of institutional knowledge and technical expertise to the role.
She hails from the village of Drue in the district of Sanima, Kadavu, and has maternal links to Votua Village in the district of Lekutu, Bua.
The FEO has congratulated Senimoli on her appointment and says they look forward to her continued leadership as the organisation works to enhance electoral service delivery, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and prepare the nation for the upcoming elections.
