Women from Lautoka and Ba will no longer have to worry about transportation to attend training at the Almanah Hope Centre after receiving a new minibus from the Minister for Women Mereseini Vuniwaqa.

While handing over the minibus, Vuniwaqa says she hopes that the minibus will be a source of convenience for the women who train at the centre.

Vuniwaqa says she knows these women come from a background that is faced with hardship, challenges and difficulties, and being able to make it to school in itself is an achievement.

She further says she hopes the minibus will be put to good use.

Founder for Almanah Hope Centre, Pastor Raymond Moti thanked the Minister and the Fijian Government for its timely assistance and also for giving hope to women in rural communities and informal settlements.
