The case of Koroi Seru, who allegedly beat his manager Javed Ali to death on New Year’s Day, has been adjourned to February 5th as the state counsel failed to serve the necessary disclosures.

Seru appeared before Judge Justice Waleen George this morning.

Defence Counsel Tobia Ravuiwa had requested the court's permission to obtain Ali's medical folder.

However, Justice George says that it is not right for the court to grant such permission, as the medical folder remains with the doctor and emphasised that they must wait for the post-mortem report, which will include the doctor's statement.

The defence counsel says that they are requesting for the medical folder as Ali was heavily intoxicated on New Year’s Day.

Seru will remain in remand.
