Allegations made in the Fiji Sun that a LTA examiner was prepared to take a bribe from a person for new full class license cards and defensive driving course certificates, is now under investigation by FICAC.
Chairman of the LTA Board, Vijay Maharaj says after the allegations were made they requested the newspaper to cooperate with them.
He says the newspaper has not provided them any information.
Maharaj says they have carried out their internal investigations and little information was gathered.
Other allegations which the LTA board has been able to determine through its internal investigation has been given to the Police.
Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho says it would be premature to comment on the allegations that police are investigating at this stage.
