All civil servants have been paid, with the majority receiving their payments yesterday afternoon and the remainder today.

This has been confirmed by the Permanent Secretary for Finance, Shiri Goundar, who says they successfully migrated to the new payroll system yesterday, and no further issues are expected for future payments.

Concerns had been raised by civil servants, with some suggesting that remaining government workers would receive their pay by next Tuesday.

Goundar clarified that all processing was completed yesterday as per the pay calendar.
