All Iftar programs at mosques deferred for a few days- Muslim League

18/04/2021

The Fiji Muslim League has deferred all Iftar programs at their mosques for a few days with immediate effect.

This follows the announcement by the Prime Minister this morning regarding the new border quarantine case that could pose a risk of transmission beyond the border.

In a statement, the League says regular prayers and Taraweeh will continue under strict social distancing conditions.

They are requesting Imams to ensure this is strictly adhered to.

The Muslim League says this will be reviewed after a few days in consultation with the relevant government authorities.

They are urging everyone to take extra precautions and act on these guidelines for the betterment of our nation.
