Education Minister Rosy Akbar

Education Minister Rosy Akbar is urging Fijians to get vaccinated if not for their sake then for the sake of their children.

Akbar says now during this time of crisis children need the adults to stand up and be their protectors and in this case by being vaccinated.

The Education Minister says vaccination protects all of us from the deadly impacts of the COVID-19 virus.

Akbar adds she is fully vaccinated and we must now set an example for our children.

Akbar says a little bit of our time can ensure that the children are protected from the harmful effects of COVID-19.

She adds we want our lives to return to normalcy.
