Akbar sends her prayers to parents who lost their children in Texas school shooting

The 19 students and two teachers who were killed by a gunman in a primary school in Texas in the US were remembered today by Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Rosy Akbar.

While speaking at the official launch of the child helpline’s mascot Charlie the Turtle at the Fiji Museum foyer, Akbar says she is proud to say that Fiji is a safe place.
