Ahava to start human library projects to combat suicides

Ahava Project Fiji will launch a new human library project soon, where a street dweller will be able to choose someone from a group of people to talk to.

The project Founder and Leader Naina Senito says this will work similar to a library where people borrow books to read, however, in this a person will be chosen who would speak on any chosen topic.

Senito says they came up with this idea because they have trust built with the street dwellers and they would love to help minimise the risk of suicide.

She says as the leader she has a responsibility to set things in line and she has a passion for it.

She adds she with others like Thrift for a Change, the Barbers Ministry, Selfless Fiji Women Empowerment Fiji and others who do not wish to be named are trying to help the street dwellers.
