The Fiji Government has acknowledged Agri Exchange for putting Fijian workers first, recognizing the company’s genuine care for their wellbeing and fair treatment while working in Australia.

Employment Minister, Agni Deo Singh has commended Agri Exchange, a PALM Scheme Approved Employer under the Costa Group, for its strong focus on worker welfare and ethical employment practices.

Singh says Agri Exchange maintains a 50 percent returning workforce and invests heavily in training, mentoring, and understanding workers’ personal and cultural needs.

He says this approach has built trust, reduced absconding, and fostered long-term success.

The Minister says the company is a model for ethical employment and reflects the true spirit of the PALM Scheme — valuing people over profit.

He adds that Fijian workers have expressed gratitude for the company’s care and support, with many returning for multiple seasons.

Singh adds the Fiji Government has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring all PALM partnerships promote fair treatment and mutual benefit for workers and communities.
