Fijian singing sensation Akanisi Vakaloloma also known as Aggie released her debut album “Noqu Dodomo Vou” last night at The Merch.

Aggie says the inspiration behind the album is a new found love for her two sons who inspire her to do better everyday.

The album features 12 original songs.

The 3 hour show last night also coincided with the launching of the #RoadToOneMillion, a cross-influence collaborative social media marketing campaign that is inspired by an American social media influencer’s 50-day campaign to make $US1million, simply through engaging her followers to buy her products online.

The concept has now been localized for Fijian artistes adapting the iTaukei traditional concept of 'i solesolevaki' or collectively working together.

Aggie’s creative director Epi Nasaroa says this is where some of the local artistes have volunteered to be a part of this journey, will be working hand-in-hand to promote each other's products (albums) with the goal to achieve 50,000 downloads every time an album is released by engaging their different social media followers.

Aggie's 'Noqu Dodomo Vou' is the first #FijiMusic product to be marketed via this initiative and will be introduced to other Fijian artists in the coming months.

Nasaroa says for so long, Fijian artists have been working individually on themselves and their products which has been great but they now believe that they can achieve better results through working together.
