Adrian Parshu Ram appointed as the new FSC Director

Adrian Parshu Ram has been appointed as the new Director on the Fiji Sugar Corporation Board and his appointment is effective from the 1st of April 2025.

Ram has replaced former Board Director, Athil Narayan.

FSC Board Chairman Nitya Reddy says Ram has a strong background in litigation, mediation, dispute resolution, negotiations, contract drafting and general business management, all of which they are desperately in need of.

Reddy further says the industry is currently facing the greatest financial and operational challenges in its 150-year history, through massively declining cane production, milling efficiencies, collapsing mill plant and machinery, seriously degraded transport infrastructure, escalating costs, skill shortages and multiple contractual litigation.

He adds that they need directors who can walk the talk and deliver.
