Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the Opposition Whip Ro Filipe Tuisawau has been useless with respect to how their time in Parliament is managed however Ro Filipe says the Government are the ones who are useless and inefficient.

This is after the Opposition raised concerns about Sayed-Khaiyum tabling 4 Bills late at night.

Sayed-Khaiyum says the Opposition Whip should have organized things better.

Ro Filipe then raised a point of order and said that Sayed-Khaiyum was using unparliamentary language and it is a slur on his character.

He says the Standing Orders have been abused and the FijiFirst Government has to be removed for that to be fixed.

Sayed-Khaiyum then said that when he spoke to Ro Filipe on Tuesday about the need to rationalize the speakers, Ro Filipe had said that it is election time and they can speak as much as they like.

Ro Filipe says what he meant was that they needed to debate clearly so that the public could understand what is going on.
