ASP Drotini to be the second female officer to join UNISFA

Officer in Charge of Criminal Records Office Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police Merelea Dileba Drotini will be travelling to Abyei this Friday to join the United Nations Interim Security Forces.

She is the second female officer appointed for the post.

The Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, congratulated ASP Drotini for her appointment and reminded her of the image of the Fiji Police Force.

He reminded her of her family as she will not only be representing them at the mission area, but she will be representing the Police Force and the Fiji Government.

Chew also encouraged ASP Drotini to utilize any training opportunities that may come her way while in the mission areas.

ASP Drotini hails from Vuma, Levuka in Ovalau and has been in the Police Force since 1995.
