AG to continue to act as the Prime Minister, Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Sugar Industry, Foreign Affairs and Forestry until March 2nd 2022

Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will continue to act as the Prime Minister, Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Sugar Industry, Foreign Affairs and Forestry until March 2nd, 2022.

In a gazette published on 11th February, the Prime Minister has appointed Sayed-Khaiyum to continue as Acting Prime Minister from 12th February 2022 to 2nd March 2022.

Sayed-Khaiyum had earlier confirmed that Prime Minister Bainimarama will be away until the end of February and is recovering well after his surgery in Australia.
