Sayed-Khaiyum attends meeting on rise in COVID-19 cases and establishment of containment zones

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum at the COVID-19 announcement this afternoon

Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum arrived in Suva yesterday after being in quarantine for 14 days in Nadi.

He went straight into an all-important meeting at the Health Ministry Headquarters earlier today where the main items on the agenda were the four new confirmed COVID-19 cases and discussions on the establishment of the containment zones.

The staff of the Attorney General's Office are now gazetting all the containment zone decisions and other COVID health protection guidelines announced by the Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong.
