AD Patel College’s main objective is to win the Deans - Ratu Esala Tokaseu

After years of trying to get to the Western Zone Deans quarter-final, AD Patel College U18 has stamped their mark as the underdogs of the Ba/Tavua and Ra sub-zone and believes their main objective this year is to win the Deans trophy.

AD Patel U18 head coach Ratu Esala Tokaseu says this has been a challenging year for them after qualifying for the U18 quarter final.

Tokaseu says the support from their School officials, parents and former students has built their confidence to reach where they are today.

He is pleading to all the supporters and former students of AD Patel to come in numbers and support the school team that are playing this weekend.

The U18 team of AD Patel College will face Sigatoka Methodist College in their quarter-final match at the Xavier School ground at 2.55pm.

In other U18 quarter-final matches for the Western Zone competition that will be held at Lawaqa Park this weekend, Cuvu College will be facing Tavua College at 12.30pm, Ratu Navula College plays Ba Provincial Freebird at 1.50pm and Natabua High School will meet Kavanagasau College at 3.10pm.

In other matches held at Xavier school ground, Xavier College U15 will face Tilak High School at 8.30am, Natabua U15 will play against Ra High at 9.35am, Ra High U17 will meet Vatukaloko Secondary at 10.45am and Ra High U19 will face Rakiraki Public.

Games to be held at the Ba Methodist School ground are between Natabua U15 to face AD Patel at 8.30am, Xavier College U16 will be facing Ba Pro at 10.30am, Xavier College U17 will face Natabua at 11.40am and Ba Methodist U19 to face Nakauvadra High School at 1.40pm.

Fixtures of all games that will be held at the Lawaqa Park are as follows; Cuvu College U15 will face Ratu Navula at 8.30am ( G1), Korovuto College U15 will be facing Sigatoka Methodist at 9.20am (G2), Rt Navula College U17 playing against Navosa Central at 9.40am, Lomawai Secondary U16 to face Sabeto College at 10.30am, Ratu Navula College U16 will face Sigatoka Valley at 11.40am (G2), Cuvu College U17 will be facing Swami Vivekananda at 12.50pm (G2), Sigatoka Valley U19 will face Swami Vivekananda at 2pm and Ratu Navula College U19 to face Nasikawa Vision at 3.20pm (G2).
