Minister for Youth and Sports, Parveen Bala says a government must hear from the people to know their needs and it is also its job to respond equitably and responsibly, favouring no one and leaving no one behind.

Bala made this comment while handing over a brand-new fiberglass boat to the members of Navauvau youth network in Korovou village, Tavua.

He says this is all part of the government's initiative to assist all Fijians to be self-reliant, contribute to growing the economy, and make a difference in their communities.

Bala says the boat will ensure the villagers safety at sea while increasing their catch as well.
