Nine women's teams have been confirmed for the FWCC Easter Volleyball Championship which starts on Thursday.

They are defending champion Police White, Police Blue, USP, Savura, Veisari Pirates, VSA Women's, Army, Nadonumai Falcons and Seaside women's.

The Suva Volleyball Association says the gate fee is $3 flat and teams and spectators must bring their vaccination cards and ID as it is a Fiji Sports Council requirement.

They say children under 12 accompanied by their parent or guardian are exempted from submitting their ID and vaccination card.

The prize money in the women's competition is $2,000.

The championship will be held from Thursday to Saturday at the Fiji Netball Centre in Laucala Bay.
