8 people who were involved in an alleged $400,000 procurement scam in four separate cases appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court in the last hour.
They are Pauliasi Bainivalu, Diwakar Lal, Vicky Kumar, Shiu Raman, Rimal Chand, Ranjini Kumar, Eliki Bula and Razia Bibi.
Two people are former employees of the Nasinu Town Council while six of them are managers and employees of various companies.
They have all been granted bail.
The case has been adjourned to the 23rd of next month.
