70 to 80 people are expected to employed following the opening of Ashabhai’s $23 million office and distribution centre in Voivoi Subdivision in Nadi.
Ashabhai says the 70,000 square feet office and distribution centre which includes a 20,000 square feet cold storage facility will serve the Western Division customers.
They say it has been completed by their outsource contractor Jacks Manufacturing & Construction Limited who handed over the keys to Ashabhai Company Director Harish Patel yesterday.
Ashabhai says the economic activities resulting from this facility during the construction phase and thereafter will benefit the local community.
They add it will have an enduring effect on employment generation and commercial activities.
