7% discount for Suva and Lami ratepayers who clear their rates by Sunday

Suva and Lami ratepayers who clear their rates for the current financial year by Sunday will get a 7% discount.

The current financial year will finish on 31st July.

People who have planned to settle their rates in March will qualify for a 4% discount.

SCC Special Administrator and Chairman Isikeli Tikoduadua says the Suva and Lami Town Councils have so far collected 44 percent rates.

Tikoduadua says they have extended the cashier hours from 8am to 5.30pm on Monday to Friday and till 1pm on Saturday’s.

He adds online payment is also available.
