The Dittmann family has invested $60 million to open Aqua Insula Maritime Lifestyle Warehouse at the Denarau Marina in Nadi which offers a comprehensive luxury maritime experience, combining maritime lifestyle services to elevate the domestic superyacht experience.

Aqua Insula, a business established 13 years ago by Toralf Dittmann, opened their doors to their latest venture which is 100 percent solar-powered.

While opening the warehouse President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere says unquestionably, the luxe specialty warehouse adds a level of promise to Denarau, as well as the nation’s super-yacht sector.

He says it also uplifts the quality and capabilities of individuals and businesses involved in or associated with the projected lifestyle.

Ratu Wiliame says on a side note, the super-yacht sector could potentially bring enormous economic value to the country.

The President says the state-of-the-art Aqua Insula Maritime Lifestyle Warehouse, stocked with a range of high-quality products from certified manufacturers, is certainly a positive step, considering the economic landscape in the Denarau hot spot.

He further says Port Denarau and Vuda Marina, in partnership with the Market Development Facility and an independent consultant, conducted a 2018 economic impact study that revealed $34.9 million in foreign exchange was spent directly in Fiji on fuel, maintenance, dockage, and various other tourism activities.

Ratu Wiliame says safe to say that there is potential for future growth in our yacht and super-yacht segments.

While congratulating the Dittmann family, management, and staff of the warehouse, Ratu Wiliame says this new venture was undoubtedly a result of comprehensive surveys and experience to service an essential niche in a location that exudes opportunity.
