A total of 60 jobs have been created in the North with the opening of a new double-storey Vinod Patel hardware store in Labasa.

Vinod Patel Manager, Rajnesh Lingam says the new outlet was established to meet growing demand in the Northern Division and to provide a wider range of products for customers.

He highlighted that the new store is six times larger than previous outlets, offering customers more space and convenience.

He acknowledged competition from other hardware businesses but says the expanded space now allows the company to stock all its products in one location.

Lingam says the expanded space brings Home & Living Fiji and Finance Hub together under one roof, offering customers a more seamless and convenient experience, and strengthening the company’s presence in Labasa.
