For the first time, there will be six women’s teams featuring in the 2024 Business House Futsal Soccer Cup.

Tournament organiser, Alan Kumar of Bula Events Group says a few years back they started with three to four and now six teams have registered which shows the growth in women's soccer

Kumar says they believe that by providing them with this platform and not charging them entry fees, is a great way to contribute towards futsal soccer development. He says the 40 teams have confirmed for the open men’s division. Kumar further says the theme for this event is “Stop Drugs and Domestic Violence” as they have the Fiji Police Soccer team taking part as well who will emphasize and create awareness on the theme.

There are eight pools for the men’s open division with four teams in each pool.

The competition is set to kick off on 27th February at the FMF Gymnasium, Suva. Aaryan
