The Ministry of Health has been given a boost as 192 donors from small, medium, and big donors raised over $5 million for the Re-development Plan of the CWM Hospital.

While speaking during a thanksgiving function, Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor Jemesa Tudravu says it is indeed a humbling moment to acknowledge the benevolent partners and donors of the hospital which includes corporations, businesses, non-government organisations, foundations, trusts, schools, associations, specialist trainers consultants, and individuals.

He says that he has seen the growth in interest to provide continuous improvement in the healthcare services in the country, and he is grateful to all stakeholders for being part of their hospital journey and helping them create positive change.

Dr Tudravu says they are looking forward to the next strategic plan that's coming up in terms of the health services

Present at the thanksgiving function were the various holders and partners from the Board of Donors including ANZ Bank and its Foundation members, Westpac Team of Young Players, International Women’s Association, Church of Latter Day Saints, BSP, Fiji Ports Authority, IHG Team Hotels and Resorts and others.

Dr Tudravu thanked all the donors for making a huge difference in the upgrade of Fiji’s major hospital.
